Constitution Quotes

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters." -Benjamin Franklin

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supporters." -George Washington

If the United States would follow these truths today this nation would be a lot better off. Our leaders and citizens need to understand that if we would all just follow the Constitution we would not be dealing with as many problems in our society.

The key is righteousness. It's interesting to read history and see how the laws change and people get more wicked or how people get more wicked and laws change.

It is easier to be wicked than to be righteous. I heard that on my mission a lot. Our church was too hard to be a member with all of the rules and commandments to follow.

I don't think it is hard, but then I was raised that way. I think it is easy to live it. It sure protects us from many of the worlds woes.
