We know from the scriptures that this is true. Nations are righteous, began to prosper, and then they are destroyed allowing other nations to have there turn. Many nations and empires have fallen to destruction in this world. Let us hope and do the best that we can to prevent a similar thing from happening to America.

Loving God and obeying his commandments is the key. I think that the regular people are, for the most part, at least believers. The leaders, especially the ones in charge, are earth and power worshipers.
That is why we need to pray,obey and do the best we can.
Yep, the pattern is righteousness, success, pride, destruction. We're in the beginning of destruction to judge by the things that are happening. I sometimes wish it would just happen already, and sometimes think there's still time to turn it around.
