I have been thinking lately about how taxes in America should be. I don't think it should matter if you earn $10,000 or $250,000 a year, there should be a fixed percentage for everyone. That way the rich would not be punished for earning their money and other people would have more motivation to earn more money. If taxes were done with an even percentage for everyone it would be more fair than the idea of robbing the rich to pay the poor.

You're right, but the "poor" wouldn't go for it, they've been having a free ride for a long time. By poor I mean the welfare receivers who live off other people's taxes.
I agree. It is the "we3lfare" people that want socialism. They are so envious of people who actually work for a living. They think that we just somehow get money by simply waiting for it to fall into our hands. If they could just get more of it from "the rich" then all would be well. Who do they think pays for their living,the tooth fairy? The more taxes that the rich people pay the more they get in benefits and jobs. WRONG,Have you ever heard of a welfare person creating jobs? I haven't. The more you tax "the rich" the less money there is to employ people!!!
